DEATH MARCH REVIVAL

First time doing the Death March Revival and I had a great day on the bike. Thanks for the invite Kellen Springer . It was not too hot at higher elevation and in the shade. The trail was chunky as expected since a mountain bike was recommended, but still surprised by how much exposed rock there was. Luckily my big tires on the gravel bike made it all do-able and fun. There wasn't much traffic on the gravel except at Old Highway 2. First really big ride with the drivetrain changes and fork and it all worked great and definitly made a difference with a much bigger bailout gear in the rear.
I brought and ate so much food. In addition to the gels I had 2 pbj, 1/2 a banana, 3 oranges, 2 apples, and a bag of carrots. Disappointed with no ice cream at Mulberry Gap, but I did get a Coke and 2 Gatorades.
Never saw any piped springs along the way, but did use a spigot at a game station. I used the Crank Tank so I never ran out of water and guzzled it with the heat.
