Located on the Hiwassee River with easy access to hundreds of miles of gravel grinding heaven, the Hiwassee Outfitters campground is the perfect location for our home base! In addition to a large bath house, the property has 25 tree-covered campsites, with a maximum capacity of 6 people and 2 vehicles per site. The campsites run $60 each for the whole weekend (both Friday & Saturday nights, April 26th & 27th) and can be reserved using the form below. If you would like to make reservations for additional nights, please contact us.
Please note:
-
Campsites must be reserved for both Friday & Saturday nights at a minimum. Single-night reservations are not allowed.
-
Each campsite can accommodate a maximum of 6 people and 2 vehicles.
-
The campground does not offer RV hookups or electricity.
-
Because this is a primitive campground, generators are not allowed.
-
In addition to the bath house, water is available at a couple of spigots in the camping area.
-
Dogs are only allowed if they are well behaved and under control.
-
If campsites are available volunteers can have them for free! (So sign up early and save your spot!)
(If you prefer cabin camping to tent camping, check out Fireside Outpost.)
